My dad was diagnosed Sept 10, 2008 and passed away Dec 27, 2008. We were completely blind-sided by this horrible disease. My dad was the healthiest person I know. I pray for all of you who have lost to this, and that SOMEDAY there may be a cure.

My mother has just been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer about a month ago! She is going to be one of 21 people involved in a relatively new clinical trial drug called TH-302 which will be administered to her at The Mayo Clinic In Scottsdale, AZ! It’s been tested in patients prior to this particular group, but our doctor wouldn’t give us percentages or survival rates and didn’t sound very optimistic about the treatment! Please contact me on my page if you have any knowledge of this drug!

It's actually, usually, linked to drinking. That's the first thing we assume if you come into the ER with it, that you're a big drinker.

I agree with you. ALLOT more needs to be done to treat it.

Does anyone live in the UK here and think they spend way to much time and money into breast cancer? I can grantee that breast cancer will be mentioned every other day in the papers and almost every day on the news.
I think that even the NHS forgets that people can get cancer of every organ in the body so why do they keep beating round the bush with breast cancer all the time and getting nowhere.

the reason i post this is because this is a disease that not many know of. and i with my step dad was here right now. especially to see me on my 19th birthday.
