So sorry about your mom, hope the issue with your father is only a false alarm. Remember that your dad and Doctor are the best for information about what is currently going on. Do not try to diagnose your parents health, nor your own. You father should be able to tell you what type of cancer your mother was fighting. There are cancers from skin to bone to organs and brain, they are all very different. I attached 2 sites that give you a wide range of cancer types and info about them. I hope they might help you to understand, remember to also discuss things with your father & doctor, they will help you understand what happened.

No, you cannot tell . . because the body is a large place . . and cancer refers to one cell that has mutated and begun to grow. Cancer is a progressive disease, which means it will start out very, very small and grow indefinitely. Cancer is your own cells . . any one of them . . any of them at any given time can develop cancer . . a kidney cell is different than a brain cell that is different from a colon cell . . so there is absolutely no way to know in the early stages that you have cancer. The body does not recognize a tumor as anything foreign and can co-exist quite awhile with the tumor. It isn't until the late or advanced stages that you start to have symptoms . . sometimes . .

Cancer is progressive . . it starts out small and grows . . when it gets big enough it may start to invade local tissue and cause some type of vague pain, uneasiness, or other symptom. By the time cancer becomes noticed it is usually already large, more than one, and it may have metastasized which means it send new metastatic cells into the blood stream. Those new cancer cells can travel anywhere in the body and start a whole new colony of cancer. That is probably what happened to your neighbor. Cancer is often not that painful until the very end stages . . it will hurt only if the tumor is invading tissue, disrupting body functions, or pressing on nerves. Otherwise . . no pain.

Wish there were more signs . . but the truth is that cancer can be totally misdiagnosed for quite some time . . especially in young people.

An unexplained painless lump or bump located anywhere on the body, at least 2cm and appears to be growing . . may be the only early sign a person will have that they have cancer. Most cancer is painless and undetectable until it is advanced.

well, im a cancer (july 6) and very in tune with the vibes around me. i think cancers, whose main aura centers around the home and the self, are more apt to notice their abilities rather than a headstrong leo or scorpio whose main focus is their physical attributes rather than mental

If the operation is a success, nothing really. Except pain. Most likely, if it is spreading, they will give you a boost of radiation to make sure it goes away. what i recommend is raising your alkaline diet. You need a food that transforms your body into a more alkaline state. something like dark green vegitables. Cancer is found in the acidic tissue, where dead cells do not necessarily die, but become abnormal and irregular. This promotes the chances of cancer cells becoming less dormant and becoming abnormal. The less of an acid producing body you have, the less chance of cancer forming. The same is thought if you already have cancer. kemo is not always enough, but consuming foods that leave your body with a more base pH, the better your chances of preventing your cancer from spreading to another area and growing. Also, habbits that get your body producing alkine, such as colder showers instead of warm ones. Anything that gets your nerves jolting will cause your body to raise its pH level.

A long time ago, Dr. Otto Warburg won a nobel peace prize for proving that cancer is anaerobic; meaning they thrive only in a low-oxygen state. Alkaline tissue holds 20 times more oxygen than does acidic tissue.
